Bare Copper Wire.

Bare copper wire is copper drawn into wire with no insulation or coating. It is used as a conductor in electrical distribution, Earthing systems and winding applications, and as feed wire for enamelled winding wire.

SMARTE VENTURES PVT LTD (formerly Shree Madhav Agencies Pvt. Ltd.) makes bare copper wire from 99.99% pure copper sourced from Grade “A” London Metal Exchange (LME) registered brands. Oxygen-free (OFC) and ETP grades are both available.

Product Types

Solid Bare Copper Wire
  • A single, rigid strand of copper that resists bending and sagging.
  • Suited to permanent installations that are not often handled, removed or relocated.
  • Widely used as feed wire for enamelled wire processing, motor coils and transformer windings.
Stranded Bare Copper Wire
  • A bundle of thin copper wires twisted or braided together.
  • Flexible and easy to route through tight spaces.
  • Suited to heavy machinery and industrial sites with continuous vibration
  • Keeps a stable resistance profile under movement because each thin strand flexes independently.
Tempers available:

Fully annealed (soft), medium-hard and hard-drawn.
