Super Enamelled Copper Winding Wire.

Super enamelled copper winding wire, also called magnet wire, is copper drawn to size and coated with a thin layer of insulating enamel. The enamel separates each turn of a coil from the next. This lets the wire be wound into tight, Compact windings for motors, Transformers and electronic components.

SMARTE VENTURES PVT LTD (formerly Shree Madhav Agencies Pvt. Ltd.) manufactures and exports this wire from 99.99% pure ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) copper. Annealed pure copper is ductile and highly conductive, Which allows close winding and keeps energy loss low in compact housings.

Product Types

Insulation systems (Dr. Beck enamel) and thermal classes:
  • Class B: Polyvinyl acetal, 120°C
  • Class B: Polyester, 130°C
  • Class F: Modified polyester / polyurethane, 155°C
  • Class H: Polyesterimide, 180°C
  • Class C: Polyesterimide with polyamide-imide overcoat, 200°C
  • Class C: Polyamide-imide, 200°C
  • Class F and H: Self-Solderable copper wire
Insulation build:

Grade 1 (fine), Grade 2 (medium) and Grade 3 (on request). A thicker build gives a higher breakdown voltage.

Self-bonding wire:

Heat-activated or solvent-activated bonding layers let a coil hold its shape without a separate impregnating-varnish step.

Sizing:

SWG and mm, 0.1 mm to 2.64 mm.
